Hack in the Google Cloud with FTL

  • Google Munich Office 33 Erika-Mann-Straße München, BY, 80636 Germany (map)

Have you always wanted to learn how to leverage the Cloud to solve problems, innovate collaboratively, and create awesome applications? Well, now is your chance! In cooperation with Google, we at FTL are throwing another awesome Hackathon for tackling Data, Infrastructure and Machine Learning challenges.

As always, there will be food, drinks and interesting talks to get your inspiration flowing, so that you can hack in the cloud for the two full days at the Google office in Munich.

During this Hackathon, FTL and Google invite you to learn and use your imagination to create amazing solutions, using the Google Cloud Platform and Google Cloud Study Jams.

What’s a Google Cloud Study Jam?

A Study Jam is a collective learning program combining practical developer experience with Google Cloud expertise. With a Cloud Study Jam, you will learn the fundamental tools and capabilities of Google Cloud and use them to hack your own cool project! You will of course have the support of Googlers from the Munich office as well!

Attendees will receive free access to hands-on labs via Qwiklabs, which mirrors a real-life working environment. You will be able to choose any of the tracks:

  • Infrastructure & Architecture

  • Machine Learning & Data

  • BigQuery

After the Hackathon, you will get automatically one month access to Qwiklabs and a Google Cloud badge you can add to your Linkedin.

**

Places in the Hackathon are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis, so make sure to sign up fast to secure your spot! But keep in mind that medium to advanced knowledge is expected, namely, proficiency with a programming language and basic cloud computing knowledge. The assumption is that the participants will have a preferred programming language and can perform basic tasks with it. Cloud basics will not be introduced.
