The new normal that was brought to us this year has influenced and changed several areas of our lives. Each of us deals with new challenges every day and has adapted daily life to the external circumstances. In the professional environment, too, little is as it was in 2019. Our home has become our office, our employers and our own companies are facing completely new challenges. The individual ways of working have adapted. We all try our best. Let’s take the time to appreciate our efforts, clap ourselves as well as others on the shoulder and be aware that we are coping well with this. We want to use this evening as an inspiration and examine how three impressive women deal with the situation, what they have learned from it and what they advise us to do.
Thanks to Google we will host this remote Speaker Night on Zoom. We can’t wait to hear what Isabel, Mena and Susanne have to share and invite you to join us.
The link will be shared with all registered participants shortly before the event.

About our Speakers:
Susanne Haspinger
Susanne studied Physics and Biophysics in Tyrol and Munich and founded Holo-Light together with Florian Haspinger and Alexander Werlberger in April 2015. Her strong belief for technological innovation made her see the opportunities that lay ahead for emerging technologies and the new industrial revolution. She and her Co-Founders recognized the great potential in this area and that it was essential to show people that technology doesn’t have to replace them, but can empower them.
Who is Holo-Light? Visiting Holo-Light feels like visiting a big Family and spending time with them. What they actually do is offer software and hardware solutions that enable companies to optimize processes and generate competitive advantages using the benefits of Mixed Reality.
Mena Mokammel
Mena currently works as an Assistant Manager in the Public Sector Consulting Team at KPMG Germany. Together with her team, she advises Germany’s public institutions on strategic questions about digitization and future direction as well as optimizing their organization and processes. She says that working with the Public Sector is complex, because what ultimately matters in building inclusive (digital) solutions is a conscious choice between economic, social and environmental matters.
Prior to that, Mena has worked for several international organizations such as GIZ and a Research Think Thank (in collaboration with UNICEF) following a data-driven approach to solve problems related to social justice.
She studied a MSc in Public Policy at the School of Governance and United Nations University in Maastricht (Double Degree, cum laude), where she focused on the design and financing of social protection systems in the Global South.
In her free time, Mena uses her skills to bridge the gap between the business/public sector and diversity topics. She was currently listed as one of the TOP 50 LGBT+ Voices in Germany for actively speaking out and engaging in networks to promote minority rights in the workplace. Furthermore, she enjoys educating herself around topics of mindfulness and is passionate about food culture.
