Chatbots are changing the world. From customer service to ordering pizza, these electronic assistants are replacing humans in an increasing amount of services. They are built to enhance automated tasks using APIs, allowing computers and humans to interact in a simple way.
During this hackathon, FTL, together with tyntec, invite you to build your own Chatbot, and to interact with real life users. Using tyntec's communication APIs, you will be able to reach users in a secure way via SMS, Facebook messages, and Viber.

So, we invite all hackers to this challenge! Create your own dream chatbot, and power it with at least one of these three APIs:
THE APIs
tyntec’s SMS API
i) Send SMS to ask your fans to use your new chatbot;
ii) Check the message status to confirm the message delivery.
tyntec’s 2FA API
i) Send a PIN code (one time passcode) to allow a new user to use your chatbot;
ii) Check the PIN code entered by the user against the PIN code sent to them (to match).
tyntec’s Chat App API
i) Send Message with Facebook Messenger or Viber;
ii) Check the message status to confirm message delivery.

FAQ
Spending the night: Hackers are invited to hack through the night and to sleep in tyntec's office. Feel free to bring your sleeping bags and pillows!
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams.
